My name is Ashley. I am a Mum to a beautiful girl Mikinley. I am also a university student completing my Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood) degree. I have always loved sewing and even completed Textiles and Design for my HSC and made my formal dress.

Cheeky Creations is an Australian Work At Home Mum (WAHM) business that specialises in high quality modern cloth nappies and accessories.

The idea started in 2006 when I was looking on the Internet for another option to using disposable nappies. I didn’t like the idea of disposables on babies’ precious little bottoms and I disliked the thought of the effects on the environment. Up until then I thought the only other option was big, bulky cloth nappies that needed to be folded, needed pins and needed to be soaked. It was then that I came upon a few websites creating gorgeous looking modern cloth nappies. From then on I was hooked!

I fell pregnant at the end of 2006 and my search continued. For months I researched other nappies before coming up with a few ideas of my own.

I wanted to design nappies that were easy to use, cute, trim, fun, and something that could be shown off. After a lot of designing, testing, and tweaking, Cheeky Creations Nappies were born!

My daughter Mikinley has worn her Cheeky Creations Nappies since the day she was born. The design has undergone more tweaking since then to create an even better and cuter design!

My products are 100% Australian made by me :).
Where possible, fabrics have been used that have been purchased from other Australian WAHMs.

This business allows me to stay at home with my beautiful daughter Mikinley, while I do the two things that I love - being a Mum and sewing!

Over time I am extending my products to include clothing and other items.

All of my designs are inspired by Mikinley and my seven nieces and nephews.
